PAPA ROACH Singer Attempts To 'Punk' Drummer: Video Available
January 23, 2004A seven-minute video clip of PAPA ROACH singer Jacoby Shaddix attempting to "punk" drummer Dave Buckner by making a joke mix of a b-side with the drums mixed all the way down has been posted online at the group's official web site. Check out what happens when Dave doesn't react the way anyone expected: High-Speed, Low-Speed (Quicktime required).
PAPA ROACH have begun mixing their new album at a Los Angeles studio with Chris Lord-Alge (BAD RELIGION, BILLY TALENT, GLASSJAW, GREEN DAY, IMA ROBOT, MxPx, P.O.D., and STONE TEMPLE PILOTS).
The follow-up to 2002's "Lovehatetragedy" — which is expected to be titled either "Dancing In The Ashes" or "Getting Away With Murder" — was produced by Howard Benson, who has previously worked with COLD, BLINDSIDE, P.O.D. and SEPULTURA, among others. A spring release through Dreamworks Records is expected. Among the tracks set to appear on the album are "Just Go", "Done With You" and "Getting Away With Murder".
